Introducing The Water Collection
For me there is something so soothing and refreshing about the water, the ocean in particular. I was so lucky to grow up near the water, but my experience was typically on the shore or out on a boat exploring the San Juan Islands that are near my home. I remember being so young and being captivated by the different shades of blue

My first paintings of 2021 - "A Soul's Response"
I’ve been slow to share the new paintings I have been working on, they have felt so personal and the process wasn’t something I was quite ready to share until now. It’s been a slow, thoughtful process of painting, reflecting, feeling all the things and during each studio time a simple thought kept coming to mind.
the phrase “A Souls Response”
Introducing The Field Collection
Fields have always held a bit of magic for me, the way the grass dances in the wind, the little creatures that call it home & how it automatically shifts with the seasons. I’ve been thinking about all of these things while working on this small collection of paintings. These Field paintings have been such a sweet process as I've slowed down,

Announcing the By the Bay series!
These paintings were inspired by a quick trip down to sit by the bay. The ocean has always been a place of peace for me, so as I sat journaling my thoughts my pen lead me to sketch out the shore, the boats, the freedom that that place brings. I quietly worked on these paintings just for myself as a place to reset...
A sneak peak behind the upcoming By The Bay series
When I lived away from the ocean, I would dream of it, cry when I say it on a tv show and would immediately be home sick. Now 5 years later and 10 minutes away from the ocean I sometimes forget to see it for months. It’s been so easy to get caught up in the day to day, running a business from home and then you add a global pandemic on top of it and I needed a “reset.”

Part 1: The 2020 Abstract Collection, unpacking what these paintings mean during this crisis
I sit here typing these words over a month after the launch of my most recent original artwork launch. Between Covid-19 and quarantine and a million thoughts in between these past few months have been an emotional rollercoaster and in all honestly, just a bit of a blur, but the thing helping me keep track of time is the artwork that keep being made in the studio
June Art Wallpaper Downloads for your Phone & Desktop
This month's freebie is from one of my Tiny Landscape paintings that I've been sharing over on Instagram every Friday! I’ve loved exploring working on these small landscapes, they have been so much fun to just let loose and explore new compositions and honestly just letting myself let go and dream of the places I wish I was as right now. Because I don’t know about you but all this “stay at home” stuff has been challenging even for the homebody like me.
Stuck inside more than usual? I’ve got some printable coloring pages you might like.
You’re probably like me, weeks into this global COVID19 pandemic and you’re stuck at home, maybe with kiddos and the ideas of how to keep us entertained has diminished. Really though, how are you filing your days? Well early on I knew I needed a few things to keep me sane during our Washington “stay at home” mandate and I’m sharing a few of these things with you… like the printable coloring pages I made!
Tiny artwork making a big impact
If you follow me on instagram then you know how I’ve been switching things up and painting a lot of tiny landscapes. I love painting these little original landscapes for a number or reasons, but the biggest one is the fact that tiny art can truly make a big impact in your home. Plus it’s a fun way for me to get some ideas out of my head a little faster then when I paint large and because they are an affordable way to collect artwork for you home no matter your budget.
