Introducing The Water Collection
For me there is something so soothing and refreshing about the water, the ocean in particular. I was so lucky to grow up near the water, but my experience was typically on the shore or out on a boat exploring the San Juan Islands that are near my home. I remember being so young and being captivated by the different shades of blue and the way the sunlight would seemingly dance across the top of the water. Each second something would shift and it felt like never ending magic.
This new series of original Water Paintings are inspired by those memories. From times by the shore, on a boat or simple the magic that still lives in my head.
