October Art Wallpaper Downloads for your Phone & Desktop
For October’s Art wallpaper downloads it seemed like the perfect excuse to use one of my recent “Meditation Collection ” paintings! This painting is called “Moments” and it is inspired by the Fall season and how time seems to slow down, like sitting inside and watching the leaves fall and gather on the ground.
Which is exactly what I think of each time I look at this paintings!
So now that Fall is officially here, which is crazy to me! I feel like I was just sitting down in January to map out goals for the upcoming year and now I'm finishing up my 2019 Calendar! This will be my third year doing a calendar and I honestly look forward to creating it each time! You may not know this but I design every element myself! I love to imagine you using them in your home or office and try to think of the things that you would like a part of the design. Last year I added a spot for Monthly Gratitude which you all loved… so secret… this will probably be involved in the 2019 calendar too :)
Thanks again for supporting my small business!!

Turn your original art into high quality fine art prints - If you’re not offering prints of your artwork here’s your sign to start now! When I started turning my original artwork into high quality prints, my income JUMPED. It may seem small, but prints are one of the smartest things you can do if you want to have a successful art business.
Fall is creeping on in and the mornings are getting are getting a little crisp, but it’s something I’m welcoming this year. It also got me thinking about the seasons and how much I love to welcome the changing season by obviously doing a quick little home refresh. One of my favorite ways
I’ve never been the artist that keeps an organized sketchbook full of ideas, I’m more the type to have a million small pieces of paper or random sketches side by side with my to do list and a wall full of taped up skribbles. But I’ve come to love the not so organized chaos.
I often get asked how to start a gallery wall or which art prints work well together, so I’d show you a few options to help kick off your creative juices. When I first begin picking paintings that could work together I like to think about the space, are these going to hang close to each other (like in a gallery wall or paired over a entry table?
This painting is about self trust, about the many layers that build upon each other, the layers that are the process of becoming. Itss soft and bold movements and textures that began to intertwine and become a story worth sharing.
Spring is finally feeling like it’s arrived in the Pacific Northwest. There are flowers blooming and birds chirping and it made me think this is the perfect time to round up our top Spring Phone & Computer Backgrounds! I started offering these as a monthly freebie way back (like 7 years back) and they have been a hit ever since.
In my lifetime of creating art and my 5 year of business I have become good friends with the “creative rut.” Those dry seasons as an artist when the creativity feels harder to come by or your ideas just feel not in alignment with some part of yourself. When I feel like I’m creatively stuck I found these 5 tips helpful to get the juices flowing and find new inspiration.
I want to introduce you to the newest abstract landscape print in the shop! It’s vibrant and full of life and what’s funny is that I used to run away from bold bright paintings. I thought neutral was where it was where it was at, I love a minimalist color pallet in my home and thought that the art had to match. But as my style and taste has developed I’ve realized they are beautiful when paired together. My ideal home decor is fairly neutral because
Do you hate having a cluttered workspace, a million “tools” spread about? That was the problem I felt like I was constantly battling in the studio. That was all before I was introduced to CANVAS… I know you might be thinking “I know what a canvas is” but this is not a piece of fabric. This is a stunning minimalist workspace lamp that will replace studio lights for overhead film making, a tripod for your camera and the terrible issue of desk clutter!
I remember sitting at my desk staring at the screen wondering "what am I even doing, what's the point." At this point I had been running my art business for about a year and I still felt like a fish out of water. I kept trying a million different things. I was spending so much time trying to absorb any free resource I could find that would TELL ME WHAT TO DO.
Monthly planning just got way cuter because I’ve added two brand new large scale wall calendar to the shop! They have beautiful artwork as well as space to write down all the important details for the month, plus space to mark of tasks, top priorities and goals. Lot’s of thought and planning went into the layout of the monthly calendar, it was designed so when you pop it into a frame and then it becomes a reusable dry erase calendar!
I can’t believe I’m saying this… but the final paintings of 2022 have been released, they may be small but they are mighty!
Every year I hold this precious bundle of vintage frames and try to imagine what will be placed inside them. Something new from something old, how many stories and memories have filled these frames before?
It’s finally that time of year when I get to share next years calendar with you! It’s always a best seller and one that you ask me about all year long, which makes me so happy! The 2023 calendar may be my new favorite one of all time. I don’t know if you know this, but from start to finish, the calendar is designed by me, I love the thought that there is nothing out there in the world like this. So much love, thought and energy goes into the calendar. For starters, each painting in this calendar is brand new.
I'll be honest I was running away from this one for a while because I felt intimidated. I knew my comfort zone was going to be challenged, I knew I would have to dig deep and trust my intuition.
Releasing new paintings always gives me all the feelings. Anxious, excited, relieved. These new original paintings are bright, colorful and full of a new energy I’m still slowly digesting. I’ve learned that this is kinda the process I go through each time I wrap up a series of paintings
As an artist and someone with a degree in interior design I’m a little obsessed with finding ways to elevate the spaces we live in. One of my favorite ways to do that is with a good art print! I’ve recently released a lot of new Prints and I thought I would share why prints are such a great option for you home. And if you’re here then I know you are someone who values artwork and living a life surrounded by beautiful things.
