Healthy Homemade Ranch Dressing with Greek Yogurt
Let me start off by saying that yes, I am that annoying ranch girl who likes to put it on everything including pizza...
I hear the silence, but don't judge until you try it. Especially until you have tried making your own Ranch Dressing. Over the years I have tried different methods but for me I love a nice dill flavored ranch with a hint of garlic. Also, I don't use mayo or buttermilk, for me yogurt is my best friend in most recipes. I love to sub it for sour cream always, if you haven't tried that then you must.
Just get a nice plain greek yogurt and add a dollop to your bake potatoes, tacos, chili, or anything else.
Ok, now that I went on that yogurt tangent and you know how obsessed I am, let me give you my easy and healthy homemade ranch dressing recipe.
HOMEMADE RANCH DRESSING
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 tsp Dill weed
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp Onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Parsley
- 1 cup greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup pickle juice
- 1 green onion (chopped)
- 1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/8 tsp pepper (or to taste)
DIRECTIONS:
In a small bowl mix together all of your ingredients. Whisk together and then set aside to chill in the fridge for 30 mins. Allowing the flavors to blend together, but if you don't have time to wait, don't fret it is still delicious. Store in a air tight container or glass jar for up to 3 wks.. if it lasts that long :)
