Summer is all about comfort to me. 

 There is something freeing about just throwing on a pair of cutoffs and a tank to head out for the weekend. Summer is all about iced drinks and chilled salads, barbecuing and sunshine. One of my favorite ways to break free from my favorite jean shorts is with a maxi skirt. They are so versatile, you can dress them up or take the more casual approach like I did here the other day with my crop tank. 

On a side note: I'm getting my first hair cut since we got to Colorado. I'm a bit of a skeptic when it comes to going and getting my hair cut... one too many "mushroom mullets" as I like to call them. I'm hopeful that my hair will feel a little more alive then it has been. However, if you don't see a picture of my face for a while then maybe you can assume things didn't go to well :)
