A NOTE FROM ME TO YOU & PHOTOS OF LIFE LATELY

Since relaunching my website (merging my old blog & art site) I have felt stumped with the "blog" side of things. I used to feel my creative juices flowing and the urge to write whatever was on my heart or inspiring me. Now I keep finding myself hesitating to put my fingers down and type out new words to share with you all.

I'm having a blogging identity crisis.

Like when you're a 13 years old, stuck with that ugly hairstyle and you feel uncomfortable in your own skin. Well  I realized I'm have these "uncomfortable in my own skin" moments, part of me is craving my old comfortable clothes. But a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do and I'm going to put my big girl pants on and start writing again.

Every time I sat down to write I found myself struggling to make sure I was fitting into my "niche" or only posting on certain days. Don't get me wrong I think that there is something very valuable in having a specific focus and consistency with when and how often you post. However, I feel like I need to cut myself some slack and just bust through whatever is holding me back right now.

So I wanted to let you know that things may be looking a little different around here. I may be writing multiple times a week or maybe not at all one week. I don't know, all I do know is that I need to give myself some creative liberties so that I can find my voice for this space during this season. I hope that make sense and I would love to chat if you have any questions or thoughts.

You can also keep updated with regular happenings and behind the scenes over on Instagram or Snapchat (username: K_OpenSpaces)
