The Devils BACON WRAPPED JALAPENO POPPERS
The Super Bowl is fast approaching and whether you are a football fan or just there for the party snacks its a date worth noting. Especially if you arrive with these Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers! These Poppers aren't your typical poppers... I like to dub them "the devils" they have a little extra heat from a special little ingredient called Colmans Dry Mustard. The best part about this recipe is that it is super, I mean super easy! So if you're in a crunch come game day, try this recipe it's sure to be a crowed pleaser, especially if you have some spice lovers in the group.
INGREDIENTS:
- 6-8 small jalapeños about 2-3" ( 1 jalapeño = 2 poppers
- 8oz cream cheese
- Colmans dry mustard
- 12 slices of Bacon
DIRECTIONS:
1 - Rinse your jalapenos
2- Slice in half length wise (Side note: wear gloves if you are really sensitive to spicy things. )
3 - Use a spoon and scrape out any of the seeds and white membrane (this is where all of the spiciness lies)
4 - Mix your cream cheese & 1-2 pinches (it's spicy!) of Colmans Dry Mustard in a small bowl and stir till combined
5 - Fill with Cream Cheese, doesn't have to look fancy
6 - Cut bacon into 1/2 or leave whole (whatever will wrap around your poppers)
7 - Preheat oven to 375 degrees
8 - Place your Poppers on a baking try and place in oven for 18 to 20 mins or until crispy
9 - Enjoy!!
