"Side By Side" 

This large abstract painting was inspired by my childhood memories growing up. My dad used to drive his heavy machinery to clear trees and maintain the woods we lived in. If I close my eyes I see myself falling asleep to the sound of the engine, the way the light would dance alone the leaves of the overgrown forest floor. It felt like a magical place so big unimaginable to my little eyes.

"Side By Side" is my tribute to those memories, the importance of the simple moments in life that can sometimes go unnoticed.
