FALL DECORATING | GOLD BRANCHES

As I have gotten older one of the things I really like to do is subtly incorporate the changing of seasons in our home. I have found that my favorite way to do this is try and bring the outdoors in. When its spring I like to bring in fresh greens or flowers and as the weather changes I adjust my  seasonal decorating. And the thing I like the most is that decorating like this doesn't have to cost you much or anything at all! Last fall I used leaves and other things to create these candle holders, but this year I decided to stick with my current gold obsession and spray paint some of the dead branches outside.
I had some left over Gold Spray paint from this project  and I figured you just can't let good spray paint go to waste, especially if it is gold. This project was super easy and honestly I was very lazy during the process. I simply went out to our yard and broke off some of our tree's dead branches. Took up my trusty spray paint and without even laying my branches down I held the ends and sprayed the upper half gold. If you want the entire branch to be gold it would be best to lay out something you don't mind being painted and laying out all of your branches and then spraying them to coat the entire thing. Also, it should be noted that the wind was blowing heavily outside and my stubbornness won so I still went out and sprayed these babies in the wind but I like the light gold misting that happened because of it.
These branches have become some of my favorites, they are really simple and subtly hint at Fall but when the light catches on them the gold really shines :)
