DIY JEWELRY ORGANIZATION

I am a firm believer that designing & decorating your home doesn't have to cost you a ton of money. Our homes are personal, they should reflect our style and taste, but more than anything they shouldn't break our wallets. One of my favorite ways of doing that is by recycling old items.

It probably all started in college, where money was a little tight but I still wanted to add unique items to our home without going outside our budget. Marcus and I were newly married and we found ourselves back in school, in a tiny house with a tiny budget. Becoming a creative designer developed a little bit out of necessity and a bit from my strange obsession to find new uses to everyday items.

Another motivator was our tiny house because storage and surface space was minimum. My solution: DIY Glass Bottle Jewelry Organization, it is such a beautiful way to display your bracelets or necklaces. The best part is that you can recycle items that you already use to complete this project. Old wine bottles work great, all you have to do is finish the bottle and clean off the label. If you want to do a little shopping you can head to your local thrift or antique shop to search out some unique bottles to display your jewelry.

When it comes to my own personal space I try to stick to this little motto...
Everything needs to have a "home" and honestly that "home" is sometimes just a old glass bottle or silver tray. Having a place to put your jewelry or spare change creates a sense of intention. Even if my intention is that I don't want a pile of necklaces and spare change my counter.

Are there any little ways you try to stay organized in your home?
