Creative Workspace with Hannah Pobar in San Francisco, CA

Hello Friends! Today I get the lovely opportunity to welcome Hannah Pobar to the blog. She is opening up her home to show us around her one of a kind Creative Workspace! I am so excited to start this new monthly series, where we get to take a peak into some amazing artists, makers & creative's studio and workspaces. From small nooks to studio spaces we will be learning what makes these spaces unique and functional.

Name: Hannah Pobar | Website

Location:  Nob Hill in San Francisco, CA

What is your space used for? Tell us a bit about your creative business.: As a creative, my space is used for a myriad of things! I fell in love with my studio originally because of the gorgeous natural light (I am a photographer and designer by day!). It’s beautifully lit all day long and the sun pours in through big bay windows in the morning which is to die for. It’s the perfect backdrop for photoshoots, which actually led me to start homestudiolist.com - a site of curated and styled spaces available to browse + book for photoshoots!

What inspires you in your home/workspace?: The wood panelling, bay windows, and original wood floor are all charming little details that really lend an iconic San Francisco feel. It’s minimalistic in nature, and everything comes together as a reflection of my own personal style. Neutral colors, lots of textures, and a focus on gorgeous typography (I consider that a pattern, haha).

Share a bit more about what makes this space unique to you. Your style, taste or a specific item?: I have a display of my Grandfather’s vintage camera collection in my house, which is probably the most special and sentimental element of my space. Not only do they look cool, but I love knowing that back in the day that’s what someone in my family actually used to record memories with. Some of them actually still even work!

What is one item in your space that you couldn't live without and why? : Great speakers. Seriously the best investment and it totally creates the perfect mood in my house. I love to open up all the windows and just blast music while I work.

Do you share your home/workspace with anyone? : Nope, just me and all my crazy ideas ;)

Do you have a favorite Quote? : "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are."
