RAMBLINGS | VOL 27
I was driving home the other night and looked up and this amazing full moon was peaking over the mountains. As I finished my drive home it continued to reach higher into the sky and I just kept thinking how beautiful it was. How special that moment was. In a span of 10 minutes the sky changed rapidly. Each minute it looked different. Things were shifting and by the time I got home I just kept thinking about how fast time goes. How little moments in life just slip right on by without appreciation.
Sometimes we just get so busy we forget to let the dishes pile up and take advantage of sitting with someone and laughing rather than cleaning up and checking off that to-do list. Don't get me wrong I'm all about a good list, but I don't want to forget the little moments that make up my day.
So with that being said here are somethings that I am thankful for.
- homemade pizza by one great husband
- 1st birthday celebrations
- supportive families
- good jobs
- quiet moments in the morning
- a good cup of coffee
- book. blanket and the rain outside
- the feeling that something good is just around the corner
