RAMBLINGS VOL 16 | SUCCESS

I've been thinking a lot about what it means to be successful.
I think part of why I keep thinking about what this means is because I will
be graduating soon and it seems like everyone has an opinion about
what you should be doing post graduation to be "successful."

I feel the pressure to get that perfect job. Always be aware of how you are acting...
because "you never know if it might turn into a job." Its pressure upon pressure and I feel myself
starting to crack. And then I suddenly realized that Im basing my worth and catering my
actions to people that I dont necessarily want to base my life off of.

I suddenly remember, like the light was finally turned on after a dark night,
that I was told to focus on the Lord,
base my actions on what he would want from me and live a life free and without fear.
Dont get me wrong, I think that as a professional you need to be
aware of how you are presenting yourself and there are some great tool out there.
But I want to make sure I am representing a true version of myself,
not changing my values just to get that perfect job and become successful.
I want to be successful in my daily life, making sure
that I am presenting the person that I want to be, free and confident.
Not creating an image that isn't true to everything that I believe.
